BACHELOR OF PERFORMING ARTS (MUSIC)
MUSIC ASSOCIATE DIPLOMA
MUSIC ASSOCIATE DIPLOMA is a specialized Diploma program designed to equip music students with comprehensive knowledge and practical skills in music performance, theory, composition, and worship leadership.
The primary aim of the course is to prepare capable music leaders for church music ministry and educational institutions.
Through a balanced combination of academic study, practical training, and spiritual formation, students are trained to lead worship, direct choirs, teach music, and contribute effectively to the musical and spiritual life of churches and schools.

APPLICATION GUIDELINES 2026-2027
BACHELOR OF PERFORMING ARTS (MUSIC)
Audition requirement
Piano Major:
(a) Play one (1) piano piece of own choice in the level of Grade 5 or above.
(b) Choose one of the pieces given below
Guitar Major:
(a) Play one (1) guitar piece of own choice in the level of Grade 5 or above.
(b) Choose one of the pieces given below
Voice Major:
(a) Sing one (1) voice piece of own choice in the level of Grade 5 or above.
(b) Choose one of the pieces given below
Conducting Major:
(a) Submit a video of the applicant conducting a Choir or ensemble
Viola Major
(a) Play one (1) viola piece of own choice in the level of Grade 5 or above.
(b) Choose one of the pieces given below
(In case the student is from violin background; he/she may opt to play the violin piece given below)
Violin Major
(a) Play one (1) violin piece of own choice in the level of Grade 5 or above.
(b) Choose one of the pieces given below
IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Applicants must submit all the above stated documents and audition videos with an application fee of Rs. 1000 on or before May 11, 2026 to admissions.ncm@gmail.com

The documents must be scanned clearly and compiled in a single PDF format file.

Video recordings must be in High Definition without any sound effects.

Shortlisted applicants will be called for Entrance examination/Audition on May 14- 15, 2026

The results shall be announced on May 23, 2026

REQUIREMENTS
1. Educational Qualification:
For Music Associate Diploma – Class 12 passed & above (those awaiting result may still apply)
2. Documents (in photocopy) to be attached with the Application Form:

Copies of all relevant Music Examination Certificates, Mark sheets of HSLC, HSSLC and any other degree certificates, if any.

Statement of financial support.

General health certificate.
3. Interview and Proficiency Test:

Interview

Sight-reading test.

Listening test (pitch & rhythm).

Basic music theory test.
